Foundation and Establishment

Foundation and Establishment

Srinakharinwirot University, as a state higher education institution, has been operating according to its mission and duties in producing graduates, research, community service, and preservation of arts and culture. It has continuously developed its potential in various areas. One important mission is to provide consultation and academic services in various forms. Recognizing this importance, an organization was established to provide academic services with flexible management to effectively respond to the needs of service recipients. The University Council of Srinakharinwirot University resolved to establish the Research and Service Center by issuing the Srinakharinwirot University Regulation on the Research and Service Center, B.E. 2545, on February 14, 2002, to serve as a central unit for operating and coordinating academic services, research, continuing education, and other services based on the university's intellectual potential and resources for maximum benefit to both government and private agencies, while also supporting educational opportunities and improving the quality of life for families, communities, and society.

Name Change and Mission Expansion

Later in 2004, the Research and Service Center was renamed the Academic Service Center according to the announcement of the Srinakharinwirot University Council dated July 19, 2004, to align with the missions being carried out and to avoid duplication with the operations of other university units.

Registration as Thai Consultant

The Academic Service Center, Srinakharinwirot University, registered as a Thai Consultant with the Ministry of Finance from October 31, 2007, to the present as a juristic person consultant, number 2490, level 1, in the fields of education, industry, information technology and communication, transportation, administration and organizational development, public relations, research and evaluation.

ISO Renewal and International Standards

The Academic Service Center, Srinakharinwirot University, passed the surveillance audit and renewal assessment for ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification by the audit committee from the Management System Certification Institute (MASCI), Thailand Industrial Development Foundation, a network institute of the Ministry of Industry, to confirm the organization's commitment to operating according to international standards and continuously providing quality academic services. Certification scope includes: Certificate No. QMS22018/1828 for the scope of providing services and coordinating academic services including training curriculum, conferences/seminars, exhibitions, and international study visit services, and Certificate No. QMS22018/1828M for the scope of providing services and coordinating academic services including research, consultation, and entrepreneur development.
